An OEIC Investment (Open Ended Investment Company) is an investment product formerly offered to New Zealand investors in shares in two OEICs which are linked to a range of international equity funds.

OEICs operate in a similar way to a unit trust giving investors the opportunity to pool their money to collectively invest in various funds. The investor owns shares, which are similar to the units in a unit trust.

Tax changes, from 1 April 2007 removed the tax advantage available for OEIC Fund investors.

OEIC shares are priced on a single mid-market basis and hence are not subject to entry/exit price "spreads" or differentials.

OEIC Funds are only available to investors with New Zealand residence.
